Words from Owner

Started in 1988 by my father and mother who wanted to get their four sons out of the cul-de-sac and neighborhood.  The Farm’s only purpose was to instill work ethic and keep their boys from falling in with the wrong crowd.  That goal remains true today.  The farm is not about making money, but about family.  Keeping family together and passing on tradition.  My wife and I wanted the same for our three girls, wanted the same for our nephews and nieces and wanted to encourage the future generations to come together around the small family farm.  We were fortunate to have the resources to take over the operation and invest in the future.  My brothers and I all have our own careers and our own families.  We all come together to continue our traditions and use the production of quality hay to accomplish that goal. 

 

Our operation is small, but growing.  We think this gives us an advantage.  We monitor our soil conditions, fertilize appropriately and keep the weeds out of our fields without compromising the nutritional value of the hay.  We want to do business with you.  We want to make you and your animals that you care about a part of our traditions.  Most of our customers are small farms or individuals with a few animals.  We get to know them and they get to know the difference between the quality of the hay we can provide versus what many feed stores have to offer.
